In my Heart and Soul I am an artist. Words come to me in the silence and wake me from sleep. The fleeting images of everyday scenes play out as hidden worlds, surreal and illuminating, in the dark of my dreams. I hear secrets spoken when gazing into a child's eyes or when tuned to an elder's voice. My reason is born from the chaos and my compassion from the peace. I'm in love with the gentle mists of a waterfall in a cold summer creek and the blissful caress of the sun's shining brilliance...the sound the wind makes as it plays through the leaves, and the sweet smell of honeysuckle as I walk along a path. It's a love that carries my heart in times of sadness and elevates my mind to the point of release.

 

My prayers are that which I bring forth from all this and leave behind as I go. My meditations are my wonderments, musings, and songs...my prayers are my children, my soul encounters, and my connections. These moments are gifts that I share with admiration for what has been and exhilaration for what is to come. I share these gifts through pieces of me; through writing, photography, and art... as I am guided to do. My hope is that the true spirit of these moments will touch the hearts and souls of those who happen across them.
